Went for a stroll in a local mall this afternoon to a Rogers dealer and saw some point of sale materials for the Pearl. They’ve got a 2ft. cardboard Pearl on display beside a fact-sheet (facts we already knew, unfortunately) and was able to take some shots and fiddle around with their dummy phone while talking to the manager.
Talked about the BlackBerry 8800, and to my surprise, she knew what I was talking about and said a friend of hers “works for RIM and was playing around with it around her.” Such carelessness! I’ll see if I can squeeze more information out – literally.
