Have I talked about the Hawthorne Effect before? RIM and the BlackBerry should stay on top of the market for eons if those studies are true. One reason being that recent news reports that RIM Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis is receiving the Order of Canada this Friday morning at after the official announcement came back in February. The award, established in 1967, is Canada’s highest honour for lifetime achievment in a variety of fields. Lazaridis will be appointed as an Officer for his work in industry/commerce/business. I wonder if he’ll leak any 8800 tidbits to the Governor General.

This is good for Canada as a whole. We don’t tend to be as big on entrepreneurship and rewarding those properly as our neighbors to the south.
