Received an email really early this morning with some photos. Usually around that time of day, we’re expecting a different breed of photos, but nevertheless, this is exciting, folks. Attached to the email were some shots of a new BlackBerry device with a watermark that proves they’re legit. Read on and prepare yourself for sheer beauty…
…from Kawasaki?!

Compared to other devices, the Kawasaki-edition BlackBerry 8800k is average sized. It sneaks in between the sizes of both the BlackBerry 8700 and 8100, and does so with an outer casing that is composed of what must be high-quality plastic. You know, the kind they use on Joan Rivers. And get this – who needs those fandy-dandy chargers when one of these beasts needs only one 9V battery?

I can’t wait to seet that new set of icons from rim. Very crisp.
How much were those wonderful devices?
One week’s allowance, Aaron.
Can’t wait to get a couple for my toddlers.
Dan, be sure they understand data pricing.
My bet is that once Boy Genius confirms the functionality, you’ll get all the PTT/walkie-talkie functionality w/o purchasing a separate data plan. Just won’t have that nationwide coverage that comes with iDEN.
I’ve had these for my kids for a couple of months – any good blackberry using dad has to teach his kids at a young age!!
Fischer Price’s My First Blackberry / Mobile Office Suite
Comes complete with Firsttooth Headset and laptop complete with smoking battery.
The peel-off screen…this phone isn’t real. Anyone else feel the same? I’m not sure what the whole deal is behind the peel-off screen.
Unless I’m missing something, but it looks to me, very clearly so, that this is just a prototype, like what they show in the stores.
Its just a prank. A toy BB. Pretty neat though. They should make rubber berry’s that users can beat off the wall for when their berry is not working
Thanks to those who got the joke. Just like to show you guys we’re not all business all the time.
