Speaking from the perspective of someone that’s moved three times in the past year, I can tell you that things can get pretty crazy when it comes time to make the big move, as I’m sure most of you can appreciate. A company out of the UK is attempting to simplify the process of finding and buying a new place, and has taken their crusade to the mobile industry.
Currently only available in the UK, OneMove has launched it’s property portal, the “single largest resedential property portal for homebuyers”. One move takes the search results from all of the property portals currently running in the UK and sends them all down on shute so that it’s a one-stop shop when it comes time to shack up (someone else smell an ad jingle?).
“The OneMove portal is going to change the way that people look for property online, and as a result, we are confident that the service will alleviate a lot of the stress and hassle that today’s house-hunters are facing,” says Neil Patel, CEO, OneMove. “Why should house-hunters log in to five or six different sites, only to forget which property they saw where? With the Find a Property service, homebuyers can view all of those same properties – and more – on just one site.”
Check out OneMove and let us know what tools are similar on this side of the world, if any, and if you think you could benefit from something like this. This could help me avoid that “one bedroom” I moved into earlier this year – I think they ended up renting it out the neighbour for closet space.
