it would be pretty easy to make such a program right? Well how come there has not been one to this date? I read of one app that was “bad” for the BB and that was in the news before the app even came out. I have faith in RIM and there products and there team of eng… that are on the look out for stuff like this and ways they can stop it. You show me one hack for a blackberry and I’ll never post again!

How hard would it be for a malicious blackberry to program a game or piece of software, that in the backend while the user doesn’t know it, send the whole address book db to spammers? if you have an open bes policy like myself, it wouldn’t be hard….. BB are getting more affordable and user friendly… Everyone basically wants one these days until the iphone comes out… i could see 1 or 2 crooked companies come out with something devious that steals information.

you know i would always try every new thing that came out for my blackberry but just recenty had a bad experience. I google seached for some free themes and i came upon 5, so i down loaded them and when i activated one of them my blackberry gave me that famous error message that none of us ever what to see on our blackberry JVM 101 so know i don’t try any software that you guys at bbcool don’t recomend

After all this time of the blackberry OS being around and all the hackers in this world that would love to hack into the blackberry email NO ONE HAS.. So dont be scared my little child like I said you can always fix a blackberry. With javaloader just wipe and reinstall the OS and your good to go. What do you have to loose trying a new app on your phone? at the worst its just not going to run maybe cause a java error but that can always be fixed. This is the one thing I dont have to worry about being hacked jacked or in any other way killed by a bad app.

I actually create some things to make my life easier and i release them to others. I am wary and usually wait to see how programs work from word of mouth or forums. I am always afraid of the first worm or malware for the blackberry.

Yes I will try anything thats the great thing about Blackberrys you cant hack the OS and hurt it period no matter what you do. You can always do a sysyem wipe and restore if you ever should have a problem period so go ahead try them all. Live by the motto “if it dosn’t kill you it can only make you stronger”
Rock on RIM for making the Best OS out there to date!
I want some free Games boys I love midevil chess 2 but its not free for us Pearl owners. Whats up with that Magmic?
