Big thanks to our RIM readers for the continuous good work. We don’t say it enough, I think. But thanks for announcing that today, you fine, fine folks (we’re talking to RIM, here) have made the BlackBerry Enterprise Server available for MDS applications. Apparently the new software incorporates security, push-based architecture, reliability and admin features of the BlackBerry platform – an easy solution for extending mobile apps without the needs for wireless email. Some cutting and pasting occured after the jump – I don’t think anyone was hurt in the process.
“Key benefits of BlackBerry Enterprise Server for MDS Applications include, flexibility for software vendors, third party and in-house developers, provides IT departments with a solution that allows them to deploy wireless applications, provides ability for customers to leverage the growing Java developers and BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program members and facilitates service providers to offer hosted wireless applications to their customers. BlackBerry Enterprise Server for MDS Applications is available for purchase from RIM carrier partners.”
So yeah, thanks RIM. If you send me your address, I’ll send a care package for all of your tireless efforts. Red Bull and soda crackers sound alright?
