But now, I suppose, some better news has surfaced (at least for the security commissions) as RIM has begun filing additional financial information to help move toward the end of this whole ordeal.  &#8220;The filing is intended to provide shareholders with as much information as possible prior to the Companyâ€™s MD&amp;A and consolidated financial statement filings and while its management-initiated, voluntary review of historical option practices is ongoing. Such Additional Financial Information includes a narrative explanation of RIMâ€™s operating performance during those quarters and certain additional information relating to balance sheet accounts.&#8221; [...]]]></description>

According to the National Post, the Ontario Ironworkers Pension Fund is &#8220;urging Research In Motion Ltd. to launch legal action against the company&#8217;s audit committee or risk a derivative lawsuit against the board of directors&#8221;. Well them&#8217;s fighting words right there. The Ironworkers fund are looking for action to be made no later than December 12. What exactly is their issue with RIM? [...]]]></description>
