Palm receives no complaints from Treo 680s – literally

File this one under pure gold. If you’re a regular reader, I’m sure you notice all of the digs we toss at Palm and the Treo on a daily basis. Being a Treo user is almost as bad as being a Bruce Springsteen fan… Anyway, according to Crunch Gear, Palm wouldn’t be getting any complaints from the customers who picked up their new Treo 680 release from Amazon.com – because 144,000 of them don’t have their microphones connected. We bolded that business for a reason. All of those devices, all 144,000 of them, need to be shot back to Palm HQ for repairs thanks to the manufacturer’s mix-up. Here’s hoping Palm picks up their socks for the next big shipment.
