I don’t know about you, but I would expect a performance hit (even if not noticed by the naked eye under normal/light usage) from software scanning continuously in real time and logging it.

SMobile is one of those companies I hate that try to make a fast buck from ignorant users by promoting FUD. Anyone reading this do yourself a favor, don’t buy an anti-virus program for your BlackBerry. Don’t get me wrong, anti-virus programs are a necessary evil that everyone should have on their PCs. But there is no need for a anti-virus client on the BlackBerry at the current time.
