While the majority of us are focusing on the upcoming 8800 and 9XXX releases, there’s some of the crowd who’s patience has probably run it’s course. We’re talking about Sprint/Nextel users who’ve been itching for something new ever since word of the Pearl surfaced. Well, a tipster reporting to Engadgetnotes that a BlackBerry worldphone is on it’s way from Sprint after seeing a document describing Sprint’s marketing partnership with the Super Bowl (seen above). This “Global BlackBerry” is sporting EV-DO, GSM, and a GPS receiver. Not sure what model number we’re looking at, but as the news greats say – more as this develops.
