There is tech support provided by the developer (me) – and the full version is not impossible to get working, however there is copy protection on the full version which prevents it from running on an unlicensed device.

Andrew and any others, if you are looking for an app that allows you to change the color for different alerts there already is one, called blackberry alerts. Allows you to set the color the LED blinks for different alerts (e-mail, voice mail, text message, etc.) Cost less than $10.00, go to Handango and do a search for blackberry alerts you will find it there. You can download and install has a trial period.

I actually turn off my reception LED as it drives me nuts and keeps me up at night (yes I sleep with my BB, my addiction is complete) but Blinkberry is freaking cool, rather than changing colour for reception I would rather it change colour based on message type ie. BB messenger (green) New VM (yellow) etc.. or combo’s for ultra-secret in meeting signaling.
