Cheney caught Black-handed during State of the Union

cheeeeeeney.jpgI needed a good laugh like this today. Earlier this week, Mr. W. Bush held one of his crazy State of the Union addresses. Looks as though one of his cohorts couldn’t care any less, as it appears as though one US Vice-President Dick Cheney is actually BlackBerry’ing during the speech. Check out the video after the jump and judge for yourself, but I think it’s pretty obvious what’s going on. At least, I hope it is, if you know what I mean.

    Funny, I thought this was technology blog focusing on the Blackberry. If it’s going to be reduced to poor political commentary, I might have to rethink my feed subscription to it.

    Geez pal! Where’s your sense of humor? It’s not like somebody launched into a 10 page tirade about the Bush years or something.

    Nothin against Dick. For all we know, he was heading off world war III or something. It’s just that in this context, it’s FUNNY!

    The same was said of John McCain as well…that he may have been blackberry’ing during the speech…however, at least with McCain, the National Journal debunked that rumor, by saying that he was reading along using a copy of the speech, and that they have camera angles to prove this…

    It’s standard protocol to give everyone in the hall a copy of the speech to read along with as it is delivered…so this makes the most sense…

    However, the BB angle is still pretty cool…I would actually think more of any elected official who was using a BB during the speech…
