Turns out there’s more benefits to being based in Ottawa than the -21 (celcius!) weather and a fairweather sports team. OCRI, a great organization from Ottawa that’s one of Canada’s most successful partnership organizations, has put together the Ottawa Tech Showcase for March 7, 2007 to showcase the best and brightest of growing companies.
And who’ll be making an appearance? None other than RIM Co-CEO Jim Balsillie, and he’s scheduled to give a speech at the showcase’s brunch being held at Scotiabank Place (home of the aformentioned sports team). I’ll go for the Balsillie, I’ll stay for the bagels. For more information on OCRI and the tech showcase, visit the official site.
