Either it’s happened by way of money-grubbing managers or folks who don’t know any better, the BlackBerry 8800 has already made it’s way into stores and off of their shelves. Even with the official release date highlighted, news started popping up over at BlackBerryForums on Friday when a user noted that a rep had let him know about the devices being available at a nearby store. Sure enough, the original poster weighed in later, 8800 in-hand.
Other posters started replying, and before you knew it, people were planning road trips to make it to whatever store would be dolling out the devices early.
