What a day, what a day. While some of the BBCool team is off to GDC, I’m left in the offices all by my lonesome – but that means I get to report on great things like this. Shots of what appear to be the BlackBerry 8300, codenamed “Daytona”, have surfaced on a website based out of Spain. And can I just point out how gorgeous this device is? Looks like 8700 form-factor WITH the Pearl, look at those keys, the screen, the all around goodness – can you tell I’m salivating?
Looks as though this is nearly the Golden Grail, too – 2.0 mexapixel camera, GPS, and what’s that? You better believe there’s Wi-Fi on this puppy. More shots after the break. And mop up that saliva afterwards, please. You’re making a mess. This device might be coming our way as soon as the beginning of summer.

I think the pearl was having an affair with a treo 650.
Million bucks says that when it hits the US carriers they will cripple the Wifi!
I’ll take that bet, Darrin N.
Will it have 3G data speeds?
Aaron,
before you take the bet, look at these two articles on NetStumbler.com today!

no 3g on this device. It looks nice, Im interested how they reformated the menus on the media center
well, I am going to return that 8800 today! the keys on this look a heck of alot easier.
8800/8100/wifi…..how about a 4.2 software release for the 87xx already?!? Even if the wifi is disabled, still looks like a nice device. Style wise, I prefer it over the 8800.

So many new BB models – so little time!!
Any more news on the BB 8830e (Cyclone). Will Bell Mobility eventually be the carrier? If so, when?
The suspense is killing me.
When would the T-Moble version be coming out exactly and how much should we be expecting to cough up on it?
This seems sooo unreal, now to decide iPhone or the BB8300.
Are you sure T-Mobile will be carrying it and with wifi and gps. The cingular version i found does not seem to have wifi.
I haven’t found a price on it yet, but will appreciate it if you’ve heard anything.
