Just a small tidbit to the outside world, but a lovely golden goose egg of goodness for us. A member over at Pinstack has posted the results of a quick interaction he had with a RIM representative at the Discover BlackBerry Road Show in Nashville, TN – and we’re giving out some high fives for their journalistic effort. The pseudo-sleuth brought up the fact that the 8300 had just surfaced on Engadget and other sites, and what do you think the rep had to say about that?
Mr Rainbow:
“We are not authorized to comment on articles that are posted on Engadget, therefore I can not verify that such a device exists
Oh really? What else do you have to say?
He even went on to say that (without me mentioning):
“BoyGenius has a pretty low batting average”
Alright, pal. Why bash the good name of Boy Genius when he’s caused a feeding frenzy over all of your new devices? I could go on and on about how the BG has helped RIM, but there’s no way they’ll ever stick their neck out for him or any other external effort to popularize RIM’s bread-winning devices. That’s just the way they are – and frankly, their ignorance is really getting to me.
