Finally we can put all speculation to rest (that is, of course, except for the official release date - all we know is “next week”). But yes, we’ve got the pricing for the BlackBerry 8800 on RIM’s favourite Canadian carrier. We’re looking at $749 CAN outright, $599 on a 2-year contract, and $499 on a 3-year. The outright price always blows my mind, but these numbers are pretty well par for the course for new BlackBerry devices. Oh, and Rogers’ll deal with upgrades on a customer to customer basis. So there you go.
Thanks, Neal.

Outright price is CRAZY!
It’s cheaper to buy from Cingular and have unlocked.
I want one of these. The price is steep but I’m due for an upgrade so maybe I can get rogers to knock down the price.
FYI… it looks like the 8800 will be launching between March 15-19 according to one of my sources
