I was hoping for a little more of a break before we got to the next round of comparison shots, but thanks to everyone’s best pal Boy Genius, that ain’t gonna happen. Now we’ve got some shots of the oh-so-mysterious BlackBerry 8300 up against RIM’s latest enterprise offering in the 8800. As we’ve mentioned, the 8300 resembles an 8700 more than anything, and it stands a little thicker than the 8800.
I’m really digging the spacing on the keys, and even that matted finish on the back. I plan on being at WES with this thing on my person. Check out more shots after the jump. Thanks, BG.

Am not happy with the 8800 keyboard. Have been a Blackberry user since the early 957 days and the 8800 has a terrible keyboard from my point of view. Would like more information as to whether the keyboard of the new 8300 will be closer to the 8700.
If it quacks like a treo…
Have we seen the end of the track wheel on the side of blackberries? I am slowly getting use to the trackball but I preferred the track wheel on the side. I agree that the keyboard on the 8800 is not user freindly. I wish that i had kept the 8700 rather than switching to the 8800.
