Albert, are you sure you know what you're talking about? When was the last time you looked at this?
Exchange 2007 and WinMo 6 are a real threat to RIM and I wouldn't be feeling too safe at this point. MSFT has significantly eroded the value proposition for the extra (high) license fees that RIM charges and for many the MSFT platform is good enough.
What many fail to see in this analysis is that once push email is out of the way (yes others are doing it), the strength of the MSFT platform is what will win many converts. When that WinMo device can then easily access more back-end systems, it starts to turn the heads of IT dept and execs. This is why RIM is starting to open up the platform, but it might be too late.
Our company is seriously considering migrating over to WinMo (albeit, over time) and we have a heavy investment in RIM.

I think the idea of push e-mail as being the only criteria when picking a wireless mobility platform are done. I mean there's already the java app Emoze that can do push e-mail. I think Yahoo mail will be push via IMAP when the iPhone releases. For enterprises that care about security will continue to select the blackberry platform. It is much more secure than any Exchange Activesync platform I've ever seen, and provides secure access to behind the firewall applications in a simple secure way. Getting WinMo devices to access company apps securely is a bloated process of getting certificates, loading them, and getting those devices authenticated.
