Heck, that’s how I found BBcool. From the latest sports scores to tech news to current events it’s all right at my fingers. These little blurbs have led me to some interesting conversations not to mention a few hot spots for socializing. It also allows you to save the feeds so I can pull them up as proof and show off my BB at the same time.

It’s true that your PIN is a part of your URL – which means that people need to know your PIN first, in order to visit your profile.

And, there’s no such thing as “PIN spam” that I am aware. Mine is the most prominent PIN on the site, and I’ve received no such thing.

People share their PIN numbers all over – the most prominent BB discussion boards have areas to allow people to share their PIN’s.

Pinppl is a social site. That people can see your profile is not a drawback…it’s the point, and is why people register; to meet new people to message over their BB’s.

In addition, you can completely remove your profile at any time.

So, when you say “better to keep it private and safe”, you’re talking about your own preference. As is evident, that’s not what everybody would like to do.
