With all the new hype about current and future RIM devices, it’s easy to forget the plucky stalwarts that saw us through in years past. Devices like the beloved BlackBerry 8700 or personal favorite, the 7130.
So it’s heartening, to hear from our super secret sources that while carriers have yet to roll it out, OS 4.2 for the BlackBerry 8700 has been making the rounds on the net (hint: try PinStack‘s news/rumours section). Of course, our man BG has let it be known that we’ll probably see OS 5.0 by the end of the year, but still, it’s a little bit of love for an old friend.
