For some reason, Bell’s support for the BlackBerry 8830 fell under the radar for not only us, but our buddies over at Engadget. In any case, BCE joins the ranks of Verizon and Sprint as carriers of the new data roaming BlackBerry. Considering Bell’s meager selection of BlackBerrys right now, the 8830 is just the world-roaming shot in the arm our plucky Canadian carrier needs.

meager selection? that’s all the ‘berries that a CDMA carrier has to offer!
Exactly our point. We want more CDMA BlackBerrys!
i lost focus, i thought from the picture it was a story about bored train employees using blackberrys. . .
plucky?
TELUS also plans to launch the 8830 within a similar timeframe.
not a true world traveler though….as it doesn’t do UMTS for Japan & Korea.
