The BlackBerry 8300 has officially been announced by RIM today, after much domain name speculation yesterday. The big news for this sucker is 2 megapixel camera with integrated flash and a “next generation” media player put together by Roxio. A microSD expansion slot will be included, which should be a given for something sporting MP3, camera and full-screen video support. AT&T will be carrying the Curve this spring (and T-Mobile according to BGR), with many more carriers sure to follow. This thing is a solid follow-up to Pearl’s initial foray into the consumer world, and will be making some big waves. Full specs and features behind the jump.
