Time to fire up your flux capacitors. In a bid to match the awesome power of a DeLorean at 88 miles per hour, wireless industry giants are aiming to break the 100Mbps mark on mobile devices. Alcatel-Lucent, Sony Ericsson, France Telecom, Nokia, Nortel, T-Mobile and Vodafone are all on board to work this one out. The collaboration is a part of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project set up back in â€™98 in an effort to make a worldwide 3G system specification.
