The guy who snorted his father’s ashes is pretty miffed that he’s not getting a BlackBerry branded after him. Keith Richards and company are taking legal action against RIM, who had signed an agreement to make a Rolling Stones BlackBerry, but have since reneged. RIM remains tight-lipped, as ever.
Sure, RIM just got out of the stock-option stint, but, as they say, there’s no rest for the wicked. At this point, I couldn’t imagine RIM getting more press from celebrity deals than litigation announcements anyway. They’ll no doubt pull through this noise without a hitch.
Man, I would have totally bought a StonesBerry, too.
