I am from Germany. In Germany T-Mobile always sells two different variants of each BB device, one for BIS users and one for BES/BIS users. The BIS/BES variant of the BlackBerry Curve 8300 will be available at the end of May. The BIS variant will be available in June.
You should make a trip to Germany end of May and get your 8300 Btw, the BB devices in Germany do NOT have a SIM lock. But make sure you do not buy a BIS-only variant from T-Mobile Germany, these devices only work with T-Mobile Germany BIS-Accounts. The price for the 8300 will be 430 Euro (incl. VAT) without a new contract. If you get a two year contract with T-Mobile the price is 100 Euro.
