MobileTracker 1.2 released

Comments

MobileTrackerMobileTracker is some pretty cool software that records movements from your GPS-enabled device and exports it to Google Earth. I could see this getting some use out of folks who are doing the tourist thing and want to be able to remember all the places they went. Tie in some use with Panoramio, and you can have a pretty detailed records of where you’ve been. Best of all, no subscription is required – $24 and it’s yours.

New Features in MobileTracker 1.2.0:

* Recording:
o Timestamp tracking
o Traveled time from start for every position on track
o Average Speed of track
o Traveled time of track
o Traveled distance of track
* User interface:
o Status indicator
o Live coordinate output
o Live distance output from start
o Simplified User Interface
o Adjustable altitude mode
* General:
o Quick start guide
o Several minor bug fixes
o BlackBerry Pearl and BlackBerry Curve support

    24 dollars for a freaking tracker? That’s a rip off. And it should come with the phone or insurance when you get the phone. That’s kinda part of a warranty isn’t it? I see no point. Might as well not get it and only get a warranty just in case something happens and you get a new phone.
