		<description><![CDATA[The reason Qualcomm chips on the Verizon 8830 wasn&#039;t such a huge deal is that the Verizon World Edition came out before the ban on Qualcomm chips was imposed - Sprint&#039;s came after, and signaled the partnership they were going to form to get around Broadcom&#039;s patent complaints. In order to get around the ban, the chip in Sprint&#039;s handheld may have needed some extensive changes done to it versus Verizon&#039;s.]]></description>

Dave...did you have any probs concerning VZW&#039;s 8830 ? 

Not really sure if it was a batch problem or what, but it took 3 Berrys to get it right. 

But like I told the Rep...they were problems only the thumbs and eyes of a longtime &quot;Black/Crackberry Head&quot; would notice !]]></description>
