Carriers are able to disable GPS within a BlackBerry device and we do not claim to be able to work around that. We’ve clarified this on our site. Thank you for your comments.

Umm, does this work with a VERIZON 8830? It says it is compatible, so I signed up, but now it is saying my phone is OFFLINE. I knew I didn’t have working GPS, but it still said compatible….?
