I’ve got an 8300, and I got it just after they announced the 8310 and 8320, and quite frankly I couldn’t care less. It’s still perfectly current, works with all the newest software and lots of people comment on it. I *like* how this is going. Remember the processor wars back in the nineties where chips were doubling in speed every couple of months? Same thing, it’s just the result of a highly competitive market, and RIM needs to do this, because if they don’t Nokia, Apple and Moto are going to hammer them.

Just letting you all know that if you are looking for the rogers curve 8310. Word is that it will be released in the next 5-8 business days for Rogers in Canada. Finally Canadians don’t have to wait too long.
