I’ve been calling local (Vancouver BC) Wirelesswave and Rogers retail outlets but none of them are carrying the 8310 yet and none seem to know its actual release date…
A couple are even saying it will be coming with wifi, but I’m guessing they are mixing up the integrated GPS functionality.

I doubt it will be in Black as the add says it’s Titanium toned – so dark gray

I want this phone, but with Rogers ludicrous data rates (most expensive in the entire world by a factor of 10) how useful will the GPS actually be? pulling down all those maps could cost you hundreds and hundreds of dollars a month, as Rogers doesn’t offer an unlimited data plan and has a two tiered wireless internet.
