Reliance launches CDMA BlackBerry network in India

India Reliance is breaking out a ton of BlackBerry action in India today, announcing a whole new network for their devices. Spearheading the push is the BlackBerry 8830, allowing India’s corporate users to get better coverage than existing GSM. A CDMA BlackBerry expansion has been in the cards since May, and now that it’s come to fruit, we can see what was going on earlier with that massive expansion. Reliance will be offering the BlackBerry 8830 for Rs 33,990 on their shiny new network.

Someone please let me know why prices of Blackberry CDMA phons are 4 to 5 times higher than US ? Otherwise, if we compare RIL and TATA handsets pries why RIL Prices are higher for same Handset?

Also, why Good phones of NOKIA are no more avaliable with RIL ?

Should I switch over to TATA just for Handsets problems? As there is no good handset avaliable in RIL?

RIL people are not intrested in CDMA customers and also they dont`ve the Handset as per GSM.
w8 til DEC.TRAI wl lanch SAME no with ANY servise provider also curent RIL cdMA CAN B CNVRT IN airtel GSM.
