There was this story about Att disabling some of the functionality of the 8820 because of Apple. Well that's more and more becoming irrevelant. Att is about to release the Motorola q9 with gps. So maybe it was Motorola who put the pressure on T.

We intend to release the 8320 just prior to our 8820 release.
Prepare for our 8320 launch in 4 weeks.

I also noticed this, my first thought was that they are getting X number of units and were taking pre-orders. Once they filled that number of pre-orders they took it down rather than saying temporarily out of stock, which wouldn't make sense since it isn't in stock as is.

I don't think AT&T would be strong arming Amazon since they were taking pre-orders for the AT&T 8820.

Or if you are a conspiracy theory type, maybe they found a hugh error and had to push the launch data back to an undertermined date!

Sorry if I made anyone cry.. it's merely speculation.
