BlackLine makes its money by selling tracking credits which expire monthly. They’ve got a couple of plans based on how much tracking you plan on doing, which you can easily scale up and down as the case may be. The bottom rung is $3 for 30 credits. Now come on, 10 cents to know where your car or buddy is is a pretty sweet deal, no matter how you cut it. Of course, the real issue is the hardware - right now only the BlackBerry 8800 is supported, but we can surely see BlackBerry 8310 compatability coming soon enough. For folks checking out this site, a GPS-enabled BlackBerry isn’t that much of a stretch, but the GPS Snitch is fairly steep, running $399.99. It has an impressive 5-day battery life, and works entirely independently (no need for Bluetooth pairing or anything like that).
For $399.99, the GPS Snitch is little more than a GPS puck with a built-in alarm - but if you’re in the market for some no-fuss car security, it might have a bit more value to you. Blip is really innovative, hip, and easy to use. It’s good to know that in a pinch, my friends can find me. We’re going to give the GPS Snitch 3 Moles out of 5 and the Blip software for the BlackBerry 8800 a 4 Where-Shares out of 5.

FYI: Felony in California if you put it on/in a car w/o the owner knowing. Yup, many stalkers were just seriously disappointed.
It can work both ways good and bad at the same time. I guess it would be cool to see where in your city or block your pals are. However, if your boss knowns that you puts Blip on your BlackBerry he can see where you are as well. Kind of kills that opportunity to grab a long lunch break when you are out of the office working.
