This has changed now since Research in Motion owns QNX software systems. Research In Motion is moving toward. QNX platform as QNX Neutrino is a very super secured, powerful, multicore, reliable realtime embedded OS on the market. QNX is indeed used in medical equipment, nuclear plants, military defense, automotive, Cisco Systems routers and now the BlackBerry PlayBook. As the QNX realtime Operating System is very secured it is known as “Military Grade Security”.
