Bell releases BlackBerry 8130

Bell 8130Not to be outdone by Telus, Bell has gone and announced the GPS-packing BlackBerry 8130 in navy blue for $149.95 on a three-year plan. Facebook and Windows Live Messenger are coming preloaded on the device, alongside some new data plans for BIS customers: $15 for 1.5 MB of traffic, $20 for 2 MB, and $35 for 4 MB.

Ouch on the data plans. People are mad at Verizon for soft capping them at 5GB for $29.99.

That’s still extremely expensive, here in Aus we thought that Telstra was going mad by charging $29.95 for 200MB - and of course no charge for any incoming calls or sms.

I’d start a riot with those prices
