Wireless Giant to sell BlackBerrys across multiple carriers

Comments

BBStoreTouted as the “world’s first authorized multi-carrier BlackBerry store”, Wireless Giant has announced that they’ll be carrying BlackBerry products and services from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. Both BES and BIS service is available through these guys from their new Farmington Hills, Michigan outlet. It sounds a lot like what the Carphone Warehouse is doing over in the UK, and their success has shown how well the multi-carrier model can work.

I think this is a great idea. A few years back I wondered if this type of retailer existed but only single carriers had the Blackberry with no option to shop across multiple carriers. Should be interesting to see this boom even further when Open Alliance and other standards start growing in popularity.
