Send Word Now has announced that their one-touch emergency contact solution is coming to BlackBerry. Their software works by initiating instant messaging contact with key people, ensuring messages are received and documented, and confirming follow-up actions. Alerts can also be sent out when triggered by certain events such as weather, traffic, and many user-defined conditions. Looks like a good deal for any enterprise dealing with time-sensitive information and a mobile workforce. Thanks, Stefano!
