Review: WorldMate Live
Integration
The BlackBerry software doesn’t so much stand on its own, but rather reflects information you pump into it through a web client as well as pulling on other directories for information like flight status, currency exchange rates, weather, and handy phone numbers. Outside of the BlackBerry client, WorldMate also offers an Outlook add-on which detects confirmation e-mails and lets you upload them to your itineraries with one click. You can’t quite do the same with your BlackBerry, but you can send out your itineraries to folks in your contacts.
Another cool feature is the ability to see where all of your flights are overlaid onto Google Maps. This not only gives you a wide-angle view to let you conceptualize multi-leg flights, but zooming in can also give you a great idea of where the particular airport is in relation to your destination city. On the handheld, WorldMate will bring up itinarary items like meetings and hotels on BlackBerry maps, so long as you’ve entered addresses for them through the web interface. Being able to orient yourself quickly after landing somewhere new really is priceless.

Nice idea - cannot get it to work - I may be doing something wrong - but am completely at a loss as to how to get help - after at least 10 e-mails, not response. I would like to upgrade but cannot get the free version to work and they won’t respond. I take that as a sign.
