InsideCRM has just busted out a great list of resources spanning the whole BlackBerry community, and covering topics from simple keyboard shortcuts to highly recommended software. There are a lot of layers of functionality to a BlackBerry, and this list of links is a great tool to help you dig through ‘em. One new tidbit I found out was how to dial letter numbers like 1-800-GOOG-411 by holding down the ALT key. There was also a guide on there for installing BlackBerry apps through Mac OS X, which I’m sure some Mac users out there would appreciate. I’m a little sad not to see Viigo on that list, though… Thanks Amy!

Has anyone figured out whether there is a workaround for the keyboard shortcut to switch between SureType and MultiTap on the 8130 as there was on the 7130? It sure is a pain to have to use the menu to do this.
Thanks.
That’s cool to see a compilation like that, I actually see some of my tips and tricks highlighted in the list
i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BUYING A BLACKBERRY DIRECT FROM THE MANUFACTURER VERSUS GETTING ONE FROM T-MOBILE USA. I WANT TO GET THE NEW 8820.
Hi All…..I just dropped and broke my 1st Blackberry (bought a refurb w/ contract w/ATT 6 months ago) it’s an old 7100 series - worked great - need to replace it immediately, today, in your opinion, is it OK to buy one on EBAY? Also I need to know what model to buy - it needs to be durable, good screen (I surf a lot on it) and be CHEAP! I need to have it shipped today so I would so appreciate it if someone can email me right away at susan@curacaoliving.com with your reccomedation for the model I need - care about function - do not care about style or color! PLEASE HELP!
Hey there…anyone heard of a site that offers rebate when upgrading the blackberry device (ie. from 8100 to 8120)?

my 8 month old bb curve has officially taken a dump. I have had problems with it freezing up( the hourglass just keeps turning round and round) I originally thought it was that i may have to many ring tones on my phone which was not the case and then I decided to buy a 2gb micro sd card for it, but it still gave me problems, it also started to delete messages that someone had sent me a few hours ago, and now just yesterday started saying with a blank white screen saying “app error 523, then directly underneath it says ” reset” when you scroll to the reset button it tries to reset it but just goes back to that same screen. I am first time user of the blackberry and love it, now that it does not work I am lost and feel lost, i am starting to want to move towards the iphone. I hear that in a few months apple will release a 3g iphone, so i am going to wait it out, and see how my refurbished bb works.
thanks

Bex - log in to your Blackberry Internet Service account through your carrier’s login page, which can be found by googling “[your carrier] BIS login”. From there click on Email accounts, then the Edit button for the account you want to change.
good thinking sherlock, what a nice question dump u got here. u claim it to be tips & tricks site when all the people who wrote in are all left with their questions unsolved. where’s the tips & tricks in that? moron.
