Currently, I'm into watching movies on my Curve and am using Rove Mobile's BB Viewer to view video and a standard 1/8 Mini Jack to Stereo cable to transmit the audio through my receiver. This little device is going to allow me to connect to my audio reciever in my closet and wirelessly stream the audio while my mini pc (mac mini) underneath my tv is using rove mobile to stream the video As long as there is no sync issues with the device I'm definitely interested in picking one of these up. I like the idea of the gateway but would have loved to see it transmit the video also.

You don't see any other cellphone makers with the idea, at least not to my knowledge. Most people today want a wireless solution and this provides just that. Reasonable in price in my opinion. And as Paul said, its easier to replace the gateway than the jack in ones phone. I'm sold on the idea. I think its a good idea. Something I can't currently do because the plug takes presidence over the bluetooth when it's plugged in. Of course if the music does stop so you can make a call, it would not be a big deal to start it again afterwards. I can see myself using this everywhere. I had to replace one of mine because the jack had torn from the board inside when I was on the bus. It will be easier to replace $80 then to replace a unit.
