APC Magazine got word that RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie confirmed that an HSDPA-compliant BlackBerry is in the works and on the way. The news comes from the Mobile World Congress, where Balsillie said the the technology was very important to the company “in the near term.” The technology has already been confirmed for the upcoming 9000 series, and further rumors have been spotted about a release during or just before WES, so some people might have this in their hot little hands as early as May.

Doesn’t T-Mobile already offer an HSDPA BlackBerry overseas?
What exactly is HSDPA??
Noone does
There is currently a UMTS blackberry available, 8707 but no HSDPA yet.
