A BlackBerry Curve 8310 in piecesA user on the Pinstack forums noted that TechRepublic’s weekly Cracking Open series, which takes apart a new gadget every week, decided to focus on the BlackBerry this week. Author John Lee said that putting it back together was as easy as taking it apart, although the LCD screen suffered some minor damage in the process.

you can get the parts on ebay pretty easily. I’ve replaced two trackballs for my Curve 8310 that way.
