Kodak makes cameras even smaller

An old, old cameraEngadget Mobile reported on some new camera tech from Kodak. Dubbed the KAC-05020, the tiny new 5 megapixel camera has pixels just 1.4 microns in diameter, down from the 1.75 microns seen in most cameras. In this case, the “pixel” (sometimes called a sensel) refers to the image sensors in the camera, rather than the points of color that make up an image. It also uses TRUESENSE technology, which has two to four times the light sensitivity of most cameras. The technology will be released to manufacturers in the second quarter of this year, so maybe we can hope to see some more impressive cameras in the BlackBerry around then.
