It looks like the holiday season was a bit kinder to BlackBerry sales than expected. While reporting third quarter results back in December, RIM was ballparking around 1.82 million new BlackBerry subscribers, but that’s been bumped up to about 2.18 million, totaling the BlackBerry subscriber count to 14 million. We’ll be able to see if the forecast holds up when Q4 and year-end results are announced on April 2nd.
