BlackBerry 8110 lands in Singapore

The GPS Pearl has been launched by SingTel for SGD538 on a 2 year contract. The BlackBerry 8110 enjoys the slim form factor, 2 megapixel camera, SureType keypad and externally-accessible microSD slot that the Pearl’s been enjoying since the 8130. Singapore’s language support is likely better than Taiwan’s, as English is pretty common over there. You’ll also notice that Singapore’s been getting all the latest toys, clearly showing that there’s some hope for RIM’s success in the orient, despite setbacks.
