As predicted, the Telus Blackberry 8330 is out today, available to Canadians for $249.99 on a 3-year contract. (Man, now I wish that earlier pricetag had panned out.) This little sucker comes preloaded with the Facebook app and Pocket Express, and will be cruising the EVDO airwaves for snappy data transfer. It’s cool that we got it first up here in the Great North, and I’ll be sure to swing by the Telus store to take a look.

Yes, a CDMA curve. But Sprint sells there for $179.99 with rebates on a 2 year commitment, and TELUS is for $249.99 with a 3 year. It sucks to be in Canada
come by Parkway Mall in ONT haha.
I find it strange that BlackBerry Cool always seem to position Telus as the only carrier in Canada to launch CDMA BlackBerry devices. Just as an FYI, I am a Bell Mobility customer and they have have the Curve as well. Telus is not the only CDMA Carrier in Canada.
do these people ship to canada? . . . it doesn’t seem so according to their site . . if that is the case you should refuse to promote their products!!!!!!!
You’re right that Bell has equal prominence in Canadian wireless, BB User, but it’s more a matter of a lack of announcements, rather than a particular bias between Bell and Telus. We’ll happily cover any Bell-side BlackBerry news if we get wind of it. My e-mail is simon at blackberry cool dot com if you ever hear anything.
