Big BlackBerry Cool Survey Take 2 (Free themes!)

BlackBerry Cool Theme So we’re new to this whole survey game, we admit that. The last time we did this there were a few hiccups to be sure, but in typical BlackBerry Cool style, we’ve smoothed everything out post-beta.

Please take the time to fill out this survey, so we can better know what makes our readers tick. It only takes a few minutes, and as a bonus, all those who complete the survey will receive a free icy blue BlackBerry theme. Hoorah!

Note: For those of you who’ve already filled out the survey, please don’t do it again. The theme being offered is the same as last time, and why would you want to fill out a survey twice?

The downloads are in a RAR format, which is a compression method like ZIP. You need to nab a program like WinRAR to open them. Our themes page gives a quick run-down on how to install themes once you’ve downloaded them. The theme is available for 8100, 8300, and 8800-series devices.

I did the survey last time, but could not download the free theme because there was no OTA (over-the-air) link available…

I also had to complete the survey using Opera Software’s Opera Mini Internet browser – I would get a (mostly) blank page using my BlackBerry’s default Internet browser.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I had the opportunity to complete the survey, but I strongly feel that this survey should have been available to those using their BlackBerry’s default Internet browser, and that the theme should have been made available OTA…

On one hand BlackBerry Cool like many others are trying to encourage the whole mobile Internet experience, but on the other, they’re saying the exact opposite by forcing users to resort to a computer!

Still not happy I can’t download my free theme BTW…
