CONFIRMED!

The 8120 DOES HAVE FULL WI-FI.
I just unpacked mine, and loaded up a few webpages.
utube, cnn, tigerdirect just to name a few.
Also, the UMA works even without subscribing to a package, it just seems to use your existing voice plan minutes.
VERY impressed so far.
Also, The Source is offering this for 49.99 on 3-year voice and data plans.

I just bought one of these yesterday and the wifi works just fine through the browser. Quite fast, too.

That’s not true. You need to choose HotSpot Browser in the Browser Option. You can use Wifi for internet access however, it’s rather slow.

The Wifi will only work with UMA and your BIS email.

You can’t just browse the internet using the wifi with the Rogers firmware on it.
