The iPhone does look like a sweet machine, but I’m just not convinced of it’s ‘business pedigree’. I don’t think Jobs is aiming at business either.

I’ve been using a BB since the RIM 850. But if Rogers offers this thing with anything approaching an AT&T style unlimited plan, I’m switching to an iPhone.

Not to mention the pricing isn’t all that agressive. $200 for the base model on a 2 year contract isn’t so special.

Also they will not be selling them without a contract.

I shudder to think of the ridiculous contract stipulations Rogers probably has up it’s sleeve.

Hey to above^ … idiot…where is acclerometer or 3G … where are these features you speak of on the bb … they can’t even release OS 4.5 much less come close…go jump in the lake fag.

I think the aggressive price point is great, but as far as I’m concerned, it still has no tactile keyboard, and so Bold will be my next phone..
That and all the “features” developed for the iphone can be seen in some form on the bb, and iphone still has no video recording, mms, or even cutting and pasting?

This is what disappoints me. Apple has been in the smartphone industry for a year and they are quickly surpassing RIM’s technology. I love my Blackberry Pearl, but for cheaper I could have a faster, more capable phone. If it wasn’t for AT&T.

You left out the info on “exchange for the rest of us.”

Mobile me is the way to go for iphone users to sync calendars, email, and contacts on the iphone without depending on RIM or MS exchange.
